REGIONAL CONFERENCES DISCUSS MEDICAL PROBLEMS
A series of regional conferences are being held by the new Council on Medical Service and Public Relations of the American Medical Association. Four of these conferences already have been held in Cincinnati, Washington, Kansas City and Atlanta, with three more scheduled for April on the Pacific Coast and in the other Western states.Originally these conferences were designed to be fact finding rather than fact giving. They have developed into orientation courses for the attending physicians, state society officers, members of the Board of Trustees who have been present and most of all for the members of the Council themselves. Similar programs have been arranged for each conference, but each meeting has developed its own pattern of pertinent and pointed discussion.
