In Reply As stated in our article,1 we agree that the potential drivers of distinct outcomes for black men across Gleason scores may be multifactorial, including potential underascertainment of disease aggressiveness on biopsy and other potential unmeasured variables. We acknowledge that the data cannot definitively support or exclude any one mechanism as the driver of the findings.
