An observational study recently published in JAMA found associations with cardiovascular disease and mortality in people with higher consumption of eggs or dietary cholesterol. For some, the findings hearkened back to the heyday of the egg-white omelet, when cholesterol-rich yolks were eschewed as delicious killers.
