Dr. Sensenich's Statement  On behalf of the American Medical Association, I wish to express my appreciation for this opportunity to appear before you to present the views of the Board of Trustees of the American Medical Association on Senate Bill S. 191. The facilities of the American Medical Association are at your disposal in the efforts to obtain a solution of the problem of providing adequate hospital facilities of a high quality for all the people of this country.The Board of Trustees of the American Medical Association has given careful consideration to the provisions of the "Hospital Construction Act" in the light of the Platform of the Association. The Board, at a recent meeting, took action to the effect that so far as its general policies are concerned the Hill-Burton bill is within the platform of the American Medical Association; that while there are certain modifications that would better
