Senator Wagner Comments on The Journal Editorial Concerning the Wagner-Murray-Dingell Bill—1945 Version  (Following is a letter-sent by Senator Wagner of New York to the editor of The Journal together with interpolated comment:)

To the Editor:—  The Journal on June 2 published an editorial on the Wagner-Murray-Dingell bill. I should like to comment on this editorial.In the last paragraph of your editorial it is stated that I have "not consulted with the American Medical Association." The fact is that I did consult the American Medical Association. On Dec. 7, 1944, I addressed a letter to Dr. Olin West, Secretary and General Manager of the American Medical Association, listing a series of suggestions for the revision of the 1943 bill and inviting the Association to comment on these proposals.
