In Reply Mr Glen provides his perspective as a registered dietitian and educator on nutrition education in medical training, as discussed in our Viewpoint.1 He emphasizes the critical role of registered dietitians to help patients make life-modifying dietary changes. We couldn’t agree more—the training and expertise of registered dietitians is unquestioned, as is the fact that they are vastly underutilized.
