Contaminated Duodenoscope Saga Continues

The FDA has advised health care facilities and device manufacturers to switch from conventional duodenoscopes to those with disposable components, particularly disposable endcaps, to reduce infections linked with microbial contamination that isn’t easily eliminated during reprocessing.
