This thesis for a degree in medicine reviews the diverse opinions of some forty-six authors who have discussed the problems of epilepsy, hysteria or hysteroepilepsy. The author gives case histories of 11 patients with epilepsy and 3 with hysteroepilepsy, the latter comprising the number encountered in a group of 105 patients diagnosed as epileptic.
