REPORT OF THE COUNCIL ON MEDICAL SERVICE AND PUBLIC RELATIONS
To the Members of the House of Delegates of the American Medical Association:Immediately after the final session of the House of Delegates in June 1944 the Council on Medical Service and Public Relations met to organize.Dr. John H. Fitzgibbon was elected chairman, Dr. E. J. McCormick vice chairman, and an executive committee was appointed consisting of the chairman, Dr. Fitzgibbon, the Trustee member, Dr. L. H. Bauer, and Dr. Alfred W. Adson. Following the resignation of Dr. Fitzgibbon as chairman, Dr. McCormick was elected chairman and Dr. James R. McVay vice chairman and member of the executive committee of the Council at its June 1945 meeting. The Washington office of the Council was established Sept. 1, 1944.
