To the Members of the House of Delegates of the American Medical Association:  The following annual report of the Board of Trustees is respectively submitted to the House of Delegates. In this report are covered the activities of various councils and bureaus of the Association during the year 1944 and, because of the lateness of the annual meeting of the House of Delegates, reference will be made to some matters that have received attention of the Board of Trustees during the current year.Many new problems growing out of the prosecution of World War II have arisen within the last two years.The working personnel of the Association has been greatly depleted and for many months the total number of employees was more than 200 below normal.
