WAR MEDICINE BECOMES OCCUPATIONAL MEDICINE
By action of the Board of Trustees of the American Medical Association the periodical known as War Medicine, published under the joint auspices of the American Medical Association and the Division of Medical Sciences of the National Research Council, will be discontinued with the issue for December 1945. In its place the Board of Trustees has authorized the publication of the periodical to be known as Occupational Medicine, designed to serve advancement in the field of prevention and treatment of disease conditions occurring to workers in every type of occupation and industry. An editorial board is in process of selection and will be announced just as soon as the Board of Trustees has taken action and those invited to serve have accepted the appointments. Occupational Medicine will not be the specific organ of any association or group, although it will have the advantage of material
