Incomplete Disclosures

JAMA. 2020;324(1):103. doi:10.1001/jama.2020.10205

In the Original Investigation titled “Effect of Vitamin D and Omega-3 Fatty Acid Supplementation on Kidney Function in Patients With Type 2 Diabetes: A Randomized Clinical Trial” published in the November 8, 2019, issue of JAMA,1 conflict of interest disclosures for 2 authors were omitted. Dr Hoofnagle’s disclosure should have included that his laboratory received payment for services from DiaSorin Inc, and Dr Thadhani’s disclosure should have included payments for services and consulting from Alnylam, Agios Pharmaceuticals, Bayer, Genzyme, and Pfizer and a grant for research from Fisher Scientific. The article has been corrected online to add these disclosures.
