To the Editor The Viewpoint by Ms Eaneff and colleagues1 proposed the role of stewardship for predictive algorithms by benchmarking to best practices from other clinical areas of medicine. In our opinion, to ensure the equality and safety of predictive algorithms, the health system could also learn from the high standards in other industries in which quality control and supervision of predictive algorithms are well established.
