Over the past year, medical centers and organizations around the US have renewed their commitments to antiracism and equity. The national dialogue has focused rightly on underrepresented minorities and strategies to address health disparities, ensure greater diversity within the physician and research workforce, and overcome implicit bias and discrimination. Various academic institutions have underscored these pursuits through task forces, recommendations, and implementation.
