—Drs. Rowntree, Greene, Ball, Swingle and Pfiffner, whose article on "Treatment of Addison's Disease with the Cortical Hormone of the Suprarenal Gland," was published in The Journal, Nov. 14, 1931, desire to acknowledge financial help from the Josiah Macy, Jr., Foundation received in this investigation. They say: "At a critical stage of the investigations of Swingle and Pfiffner on the cortical hormone of the adrenal glands, they received generous aid from the Josiah Macy, Jr., Foundation.
