This book emphasizes the importance of roentgenology and proctosigmoidoscopy in diseases of the colon and rectum. The diplocoptic method of proctosigmoidoscopy is presented and recommended as superior to the methods now in general use. The illustrations obtained by the use of this method are excellent. The general discussions are clear and concise. Case reports are presented briefly and illustrate the text very well. Dietary management is given in detail. This is an excellent volume for the general practitioner and a valuable addition to the library of the specialist.
