—I note that in the discussion of the article "Lymphogranuloma Inguinale" (The Journal, September 24, p. 1065) the remarks of Dr. J. V. Van Cleve, in closing the discussion, on page 1071, are in error. The sentence reads in this discussion: "The antigen used is an alcoholic one." This is incorrect.The antigen should be prepared according to the method described in the article itself on page 1067. The antigen is prepared in normal saline solution.
