Although this edition contains a few less pages than previous editions, it is much more complete. The author has utilized his extensive clinical experience with pathologic conditions about the head and neck, and especially of the face and mouth, to present what comprises largely the sum and substance of present day information concerning faciomaxillary diseases and surgical procedures for their alleviation. As stated in the preface, the subjects are presented in such order and with sufficient descriptive matter that the book is well adapted to students' requirements in classroom instruction; at the same time it is suitable for practitioners.
