In the December 26 issue of The Journal will be an abstract of the proceedings of the House of Delegates of the American Medical Association at the December, 1953, meeting of the Association. In the organization section of the current issue are several pages of pictures taken at this meeting. In time, the complete proceedings will be available in a booklet that will be obtainable from the office of the Secretary of the Association. In the meantime, mention of a few of the highlights may be of interest to the physicians who did not attend this seventh annual Clinical Meeting.
The House of Delegates received reports from various officers of the Association and standing committees of the House. It also was addressed by the President, Edward J. McCormick of Toledo, Ohio, by the Speaker, James R. Reuling of Bayside, N. Y., and by several guests, including Chester Keefer of Boston,
