This well known textbook has been revised extensively. The book differs somewhat in form from American textbooks in that space has been alloted to both pediatrics and dermatology. It places great emphasis on diagnosis by clinical study, with discussion of laboratory technics limited to a minimum. Contributions by eighteen outstanding British physicians provide an excellent picture of British medical opinion regarding common diseases. In general, the volume appears somewhat less comprehensive than most American textbooks.
