Abstract

One of the commonest complaints of practicing physicians is their difficulty in keeping up with medical literature. With some 400 medical journals in the English language alone listed in the Quarterly Cumulative Index Medicus, this literary ailment seems almost entirely justifiable. It is possible, however, to keep, if not fully abreast, a few weeks to several months behind the current crop of journals.
