This small volume attempts in a rather simple form to give the basic facts in regard to the common nervous and mental diseases and some directions for handling patients afflicted with them. Neither the explanatory data nor the directions for nursing care are particularly well selected or brilliantly elucidated. There are many directions for the nursing of neurologic patients which might well be included in such a book but which are missing.
