To the Editor:—
The editorial "Read the Labels" in The Journal, July 8, page 899, suggests to me a method of determining how medicaments should be injected. Labels with pictures of vein, muscle or skin in cross section would indicate to all physicians the method of injection or injections available with each drug solution. One point not covered in the editorial is the difficulty in reading the small print on some labels. The Chinese proverb about the equivalent of one picture would be most apt here.
