The first in a series of monographs on the chemistry of heterocyclic compounds, this work systematically surveys the preparation and physical properties of cyclic organic compounds containing phosphorus, arsenic, antimony, bismuth and silicon. The American system of nomenclature has been used throughout. The latest references are from 1948. This work will interest those who have to synthesize the compounds described here (or related ones), many of which are of pharmacologic interest. The book is of a high standard of printing.
