This excellent up-to-date monograph consists of two sections. The first presents the individual agents, their pharmacological properties, the mode of action and methods of use, and dosage, and the second considers the therapeutic significance of the individual agents, the indications insofar as the general and special uses for treatment of the various forms and localizations of tuberculosis are concerned. Numerous roentgenograms and tables illustrate the text. The significance of the new agents for the development of tuberculosis therapy in recent years is illustrated, and reference to the important literature is presented.
