Here is a collection of essays most of them previously published in the Guy's Hospital Gazette and in the Practitioner. The author's style is pleasant and of the type in which many physicians indulge when sitting around a fireplace for a gossipy evening. Some of the British idioms and diction may be slightly confusing.
