University Appointments.—  Harry J. Clausen, Ph.D., was appointed associate professor of the department of anatomy of the University of Arkansas School of Medicine, Little Rock, on July 1. Dr. Clausen is a graduate of the State University of Iowa and New York University. He was professor and head of the department of anatomy, Loyola University School of Dentistry, New Orleans, and formerly was associate professor of anatomy at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, Denver. James S. Dinning, Ph.D., has been appointed assistant professor in the department of biochemistry. Dr. Dinning received his Ph.D. degree in 1948 from Oklahoma Agricultural and Mechanical College, Stillwater. Dr. James O. Fergeson, Danville, a graduate of the Medical School, 1945, has been appointed instructor in the department of anatomy. Dr. Fergeson was discharged from the U. S. Army Air Corps in July 1948.
