• The repeated use of a shampoo containing selenium sulfide for the treatment of seborrheic dermatitis was followed in six cases by loss of hair in varying degrees. In all cases the shedding of hair stopped when use of the shampoo was discontinued, and in one of the cases the phenomenon was repeated several times.
