State Medical Election.—  Dr. William Paul Holbrook, Tucson, was chosen president-elect of the Arizona State Medical Association at its recent annual meeting and Dr. Delamere F. Harbridge, Phoenix, was installed as president. Dr. Leslie R. Kober, Phoenix, is vice president and Dr. William Warner Watkins, Phoenix, secretary.

Society News.—  The Pima County Medical Society was addressed in Tucson recently by Drs. Thomas J. Hardgrove on "Relationship of Psychiatry to General Medicine"; Ervin H. Holvey, "Chronic Interstitial Pancreatitis," and Charles W. Rudolph, "Thoracic Surgery on Ex-Service Men."


District Meetings.—  The First Councilor District Medical Society held its seventy-fifth semiannual meeting in Jonesboro, recently. Among the speakers were Drs. Jabez F. Jackson, Walnut Ridge, on "Mental Health of the Infant"; Walter S. Lawrence, Memphis, Tenn., "Medical Uses of Ultraviolet and Infra-Red Radiation"; John B.
