This book on public health briefly and superficially summarizes modern British public health practices. As a quick review of the general subject it will be useful to public health personnel, although in some respects the information and recommendations are not in accord with latest advances. The section on infectious diseases particularly needs revision, since some of the recommendations made are not accepted by most modern authorities.
