THE CHICAGO MEETING OF THE AMERICAN MEDICAL ASSOCIATION  Elsewhere in this issue of The Journal (pages 851 to 875) is the first part of the proceedings of the House of Delegates of the American Medical Association at the annual session in Chicago, June 9-13,1952. In the succeeding issue of The Journal will be the second and perhaps final installment of this report. If necessary, a third issue will be used to complete the proceedings. The actions are abstracted so that the readers may have this information in more easily available form. The official proceedings will be made available, as in the past, in a booklet, which will be sent to all members of the House of Delegates and officers of the American Medical Association. Dr. Louis H. Bauer's inaugural address as President was published in The Journal, June 14, 1952, pages 623-626.Of course there are many activities other than
