• A new clinical entity, in the form of a previously unseen skin eruption, appears to be developing from the use of certain deodorant and antiperspirant preparations. While the clinical appearance and pathological examinations are consistent in all patients observed to this time, the exact etiology of the granulomatous lesion is still to be determined. This chronic condition, while evidently resistant to treatment, in the acute stage may be somewhat alleviated by topically administered steroids.
