To the Editor:—
As one of the Hungarian physicians arriving as refugees in the United States, I would like to have the following comment published in The Journal:Let me express my thanks in the name of the escaped Hungarian physicians for the generous help granted by the American Medical Association through the American Medical Society of Vienna in lightening the burdens of emigrant physicians in Austria. This support has a special value for us because the A. M. S. was the only professional organization helping their escaped colleagues in that way.
