Abstract

The material in this monograph, which is an expanded outline, is concise, easily read, and accurate and should be invaluable for those who use ionizing radiation for treating skin diseases. The material was gathered from lectures, textbooks, and the author's experience as a practicing dermatologist. This is an excellent manual, presenting briefly essential information about different sources, techniques, and indications of radiations and the biological effects of radiation in normal and diseased skin.
