The purpose of the conference here reported was to bring together basic research as well as clinical investigators to ascertain the continuity of the research and its fruitfulness in the application of everyday understanding of the many facets of reproduction. Most of the work deals with animal experimentation and results, inferences for the most part being applied to human beings. The book presents many observations that are yet to be confirmed either in the laboratory or in the clinic and offers a review of pertinent data as of the time of the conference. This book is primarily for the investigator rather than the practicing physician.
