CALIFORNIA 

Veterans Honor Dr. Geiger.—  The National Commander of the Regular Veterans Association bestowed on Dr. Jacob C. Geiger, San Francisco, the Distinguished and Meritorious Service Ribbon and Gold Star in San Francisco, Oct. 28. The citation reads as follows: "For Valuable Medical and Public Health assistance rendered specifically to Veterans, over the many years; for services to this and other countries of the world and for being an outstanding citizen and public official."

Annual Scientific Assembly.—  The Medical Society of the District of Columbia will hold its 28th annual scientific assembly Nov. 23-25 at the Statler—Hilton Hotel, Washington, under the presidency of Dr. W.
