To the Editor:—  A communication from Dr. Harold Aaron directed my attention to the fact that the structural formulae of the antimalarials outlined in our article entitled, "Nearly Fatal Reaction to Amodiaquine" (JAMA179:598 [Feb. 24] 1962), were incorrectly presented and caused confusion in interpretation because of the abbreviated form in which they were drawn. The corrected formulae appear below: In addition, the text, paragraph 2, page 600, should be corrected as follows: "A variation in the radical attached to the 4-amino group accounts for the difference among these 3 compounds, each of which contains a 4-amino-7-chloroquinoline structure."
