Abstract

NAVY 

Retirements.—  The following Medical Corps officers were placed on the retired list of the Navy, Dec. 1, 1960: Captain William H. Druckemiller, after more than 20 years' active naval service. His last duty assignment was to the U. S. Naval Hospital, National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, Md.— Captain James L. Fuelling, after more than 20 years' active naval service. His last duty assignment was to the Naval School of Aviation Medicine, Pensacola, Fla.

VETERANS ADMINISTRATION 

Personal.—  Clyde B. Cope, M.D., was appointed to the data processing staff of the Veterans Administration Department of Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Cope has been assistant director of professional services for research at the Fort Howard division of the Baltimore VA hospital.

Personal.—  Dr. Allen W. Byrnes, director of professional services at the Veterans Administration hospital at St. Cloud, Minn., since November, 1958, was named manager of the VA hospital at Knoxville, Iowa. He
