Abstract

To the Editor:—  I would agree that brucellosis is a possible cause of hydrarthrosis and that it should be included in the differential diagnosis. There can be no question of the diagnosis when the Brucella organism is recovered from the synovial fluid. In the absence of such findings, considerable reservation should be exercised in making the diagnosis.
