THE American Medical Research Foundation Perinatal Study announces that it will now accept many additional participating hospitals into the program. The Board of Trustees of the American Medical Research Foundation, after reviewing the successful experience gained in the operation of the pilot study, have authorized the continuation of the perinatal study on a larger scale. This enlarged scope of investigation will provide an opportunity for many additional hospitals to join in the perinatal study and thus extend the benefits of this investigative program more widely across the country. Hospitals will be admitted to the group on the basis of meeting certain criteria, geographical distribution, and the ability to carry on the program for a minimum of one year.
