To the Editor:—
I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the name of "Avicenna" in the "Medical Greats" section of The Journal (July 22, 1961) mentioned as an "Arabian physician."Avicenna was born in Persia (Iran), lived throughout the whole of his life in Persia, died in Persia, and was buried here in Persia. He was born Persian and will remain Persian forever!
