AMA Conference on Aging Set for November in Buffalo
An AMA Regional Conference on Aging will be held Nov. 2-3 at the Statler-Hilton Hotel in Buffalo, N.Y. Participating states will be Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont and West Virginia.The meeting will deal with such problems as employment of older persons, preparation of children for the longer life span they can expect, promotion of individual health maintenance programs for persons of all ages, and health improvement.Dr. Frederick C. Swartz, chairman of the AMA Committee on Aging, will be conference chairman. Among the participants will be Drs. Joseph J. Witt of Utica, N.Y.; Richard J. Kraemer of Warwick, R.I., and Theodore G. Klumpp of New York City, all consultants of the AMA Committee on Aging.
