Student and Senior Fellowships in medical journalism are now available on a year-round basis in the Division of Scientific Publications of the American Medical Association. Application for the 2 types of fellowships are in order. The first is available for medical students who may select any academic quarter throughout the year. Activities will include writing and familiarity with techniques in reviewing the manuscripts and other duties incidental to publishing medical periodicals. Three of these fellowships are available in each academic quarter.

The second type of fellowship is available to physicians who have completed their hospital training and have manifested an interest in a career in medical journalism. Such a Senior Fellowship is available for one year with the opportunity for renewal for a second year. Application and additional information may be obtained from Dr. John H. Raach, 535 N.
