To the Editor:—
Please let me express to you my delight with the cover picture of your Thanksgiving issue (Nov 14, 1966). It is always nice to see something originally controversial become respectable in a relatively short time. There must be some people in your office with much gray hair, who can remember when Doris Lee's picture received a first award, with ensuing uproar, a little more than 30 years ago at the Art Institute of Chicago.
