Video tape recording technology has progressed to the point where it is feasible to adapt it to a host of healthscience applications. One of these is the recording of fourth-year medical students as a remedial measure in teaching diagnostic evaluation. Although no attempt has been made to evaluate the technique scientifically, preliminary impressions from both teachers and students indicate a high degree of agreement that it is a valuable, easy-to-employ procedure.
