A correspondent has notified the editorial staff of the omission of an important reference in a Department of Medicine and Religion communication published May 22 (200:732). No reference was made therein to a published report which served as the basis for some of the material contained in the communication. Quotation marks were not used in several instances when direct quotations were used. (The reference used without benefit of quotes was: Kelly, G.: Medico-MoralProblems, Chapter 6, "Should the Cancer Patient be Told?" St. Louis: The Catholic Hospital Assn of the United States and Canada, 1958, pp 46-51.)
