Nephropathy Associated With Methicillin Therapy

Abstract

Nephropathy with hematuria occurred in three patients who were receiving methicillin sodium. Clinical and laboratory evidence of the drug reaction disappeared when methicillin was discontinued. Alertness to the role of methicillin in this reaction and the reversibility of the process are emphasized.
