To the Editor:—
The letter and case report of Neustadt and Levy, "Hemorrhagic Pleural Effusion in Meigs' Syndrome" (204:81, 1968), is especially interesting to me. As tends to be the fate of authors who collect cases of various syndromes, somebody comes up with some that have been missed. My contribution is a case report and a brief description of three previously described examples, entitled "Hemothorax in Relation to Benign Pelvic Tumors" (Calif Med68:3-6, 1948).The syndrome is fascinating and the contribution of Drs. Neustadt and Levy is excellently presented. I add my reference to make the record more complete.
