Microangiopathy of the Retinal Arterioles

Abstract

Two patients with lupus erythematosus involving the central nervous system had multiple nonembolic occlusions of the retinal arterioles. The microangiopathy involved focal segments of the retinal arterioles in both eyes, with no clinical evidence of inflammation.
