Abstract

To the Editor.—  The point that Drs Holley and Glenn (236:1117, 1976) raise about the American Association of Blood Bank's definition of a volunteer donor is well taken. However, if its clarity and purpose can be misconstrued with such ease, better the Association's definitions be redefined now than later.
